Precioustymes Youth Novella Writers needed- Platinum Teen Series

For writers interested in being published by Precioustymes Entertainment, here is our submission guidelines arranged by age group. Please follow these guidelines if you wish to have your work considered for publication by us. We do not accept queries or submissions over phone or fax. Writers under the age of 18 are encouraged to submit with parental consent only. Submissions must be accompanied by a notarized statement of consent, from a parent or guardian.

10 – 15 Age Group – Submission Guidelines

Characters must be minorities or multi-cultural
Plots must appeal to this specific age group
Do not use offensive language in your description or dialogue
Must be written as a Chapter Book

Topics that are of interest in this age group can include: Drama, Suspense, Romance, Mystery; all dealing with real life situations, Triumph Stories, About your Basketball Team, Dealing With A Step-Parent, About Menstrual Cycles, About your first boyfriend/girlfriend, Molestation, Incest, Rape, Living in Foster Homes, Being Adopted, Living in Poverty, Living in a Single Parent Household, Dealing with Siblings, Issues/Problems that you have overcome, etc.

Topics are not limited to these. The topics discussed are merely to open your mind for manuscript submission. However, each manuscript submitted should deal with a real life situation and a strong story line that portrays somewhere in the plot, “If I would've, Could've of Changed my situation.” Or, address the issue, specifically to send a message to those that maybe experiencing the same issues and don't know how to cope. This is what the Youth Series is about, helping, aiding, and providing solutions to real life issues for youth and young adults.

Completed manuscripts should be no more than 40,000 or no less than 25,000 words.

Precioustymes Series for Adults

Currently, we are not accepting any manuscripts for Street Life/HIp-Hop Fiction.

However, we are accepting submissions for adults novels in these genres - Erotica, Love & Romance, and Non-Fiction Prison Stories or success stories that offer encouragement.

Please make sure your novels are at least 55,000 - 90,000. For Non-Fiction word count can vary.

If you think you have what it takes to obtain a publishing deal with us, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SAE for a reply with the first three chapters and a brief synopsis of your material, although completed manuscripts are preferred. If your material is not accepted, you will receive a letter explaining why. Manuscripts will not be returned if a SAE is not included with the appropriate postage amount.
